This page provides information for users of the previous version of ABEC.
In order to distinguish the new version from the old version the new ABEC is called "ABEC2" at places.
Compatibility
ABEC2 is a significant step in development. Unfortunately, some of the script syntax and its organization had to be changed. This means that the new ABEC2 would not correctly read your old scripts. The good news is that the changes are minor and easy to correct. Here is an application note discussing the migration issues:

Installation
The new version can be installed in parallel to the old version.
Development
The old version will not be developed any longer.
SketchAbec
Many thanks to Jonathan Sheaffer who provided a Sketchup ® - modeler especially dedicated to room acoustics. This plug-in works only for the old version. However, it is easy to convert the generated scripts to ABEC2.
